Sarah Wallin Huff’s orchestral piece “The Dark Glass Sinfonia” is featured on the new release “Prisma 3,” a compilation of new orchestral compositions. From its truncated, questioning gestures of the introduction, to the artful handling of instrumental density, to its closing drama, her piece is a standout on the disc, an offering that does Cal Poly proud.
