New and Upcoming Releases

The single for “Crystallization (A Winter Passacaglia)” is now out on your favorite streaming platforms!

A wintery piano solo, inspired to be written during the 2020 holiday season. Dedicated to my dear friend, Michael Jung, who’s always willing to try anything I throw at him.

What else am I up to…?

A new album in the works!

This upcoming album is in still in its conceptual stage, but my thinking is to include recordings of the following works:

I have to admit that it’s a weird feeling, thinking about recording live musicians again, after this long year of distancing. I’d gotten so used to the idea of relying on myself and my computer for everything! But, while I do wonder if I will know “how to people” again soon enough (lol), I am looking forward to working with my friends and colleagues, making music in person again. And I think this project is a great way to get myself into the groove again. <3

Enjoy a Sneak Peek at a Couple of WIPs

I’ve made a couple of cool demo videos for you to take a peek at these two works I’ve got on the burner right now… 🙂

First, a look at “Ayre of Grievances” for flute, violin, and viola (a digital playback demo of just the opening section):

Second, here’s a short example of a cool sampling piece I’m putting together: “Tonal Eclipse”

Enjoy, and keep an eye out for the finished works soon!

New Release: “Isolation Loop”

Now available everywhere– Isolation Loop…

“Isolation Loop” is an original creation made with loops broken down from H.I.F. Biber’s Passacaglia for solo violin from his Rosary Sonatas of 1676. The viola and violins blend with a driving soundscape of synthesis and drums to create a haunting texture at home in any era.

Listen to it your preferred way at the link!
