As we prepare for our big move, at the same time I’ve been finishing up my final violin lessons with the local tykes…. Sniff, sniff,… Very sweet! Meanwhile, during my final days coaching the strings of the Diamond Ranch High School orchestra, I had the privilege of performing with them during their ambitious concert at the Fox Theater in Pomona, and I had the privilege of working with them as they tackled the job of debuting my original work, “Courage Triptych“!
First, here are some simple recordings taken during the DRHS Orchestra’s performance of Images 2 and 3 from “Courage Triptych”.
And, enjoy these photo memories taken during this past week. 🙂
TONIGHT! At 6:30pm, come to the Fox Theater in Pomona to hear the Diamond Ranch High School Music Department perform a marvelous concert of cinematic favorites… AND, hear the String Orchestra perform my original composition “Courage Triptych” in its entirety! Featuring soloists: Jun Ha Kim on violin with myself, Debbie guest pianist, and student AJ on soprano saxophone! Don’t want to miss this! ^___^
$10 for tickets at the door, and bring $5 for a lovely program!
On Sunday May 26th, the orchestra of the Diamond Ranch High School (where I’ve been privileged to work as the strings coach for the past 5 years or so) will be debuting my three-Image work, “Courage Triptych”! They’ve been working so hard on this! 🙂
The performance will take place at the Fox Theater in Pomona — I have to get more details on time and tickets, etc! But, for now, enjoy this little sample that I snuck from the rehearsal this morning… I’m so proud of them!
