So, I randomly stumbled on this description once on what it’s like to peer into an orchestra pit:
“Most orchestra pits are painted black… It can be an intimidating sight…
The musicians are dressed all in black. They look serious and focused. Like an orchestra full of ninja.”
Yesterday afternoon I thought of this while playing violin in a beautiful pit at Maranatha High School for their production of “Thoroughly Modern Millie.”
BAHAHAHA!!
