Recording Week

This past week I had the joy (and major exercise!!) of participating in two recording sessions!

On Sunday, Clan Dragonas went into the studio (i.e., Clan Cave :P) to record our brand new song, Song at Lough Ree. It was a fantastic, fun bonding experience, and I think I’m safe in saying that this is our best recording yet! Really gorgeous tune! Keep an eye out for news on its release sometime in the future! 🙂

Then, yesterday, I had the great honor and pleasure of being asked to come play and lay down some improvised violin tracks for singer Thomas Graff at Paramount Recording! It was quite the experience! I was able to provide a myriad of various licks and riffs for several of his tunes, and we’ll see how he and his sound engineers decide to incorporate everything into the final mix – I’m as curious as anybody! 😀 Besides being on the album, I was also able to take part in the shots of a videographer and several photographs while there!

You’ll definitely want to pick up a copy of this album coming out on November 10th!
