The Old Beggar-Woman

Yesterday afternoon, I had the great pleasure of performing, for the first time, with Christina Linton, my newest composition “The Old Beggar-Woman”, for soprano and violin — the sister-piece of “Fair Katrinelje and Pif-Paf-Poltrie“, both stories by the Brothers Grimm.

As far as first performances with very short deadlines go, this went very well! (We both look forward to performing this piece again sometime, after having a chance to work on it more!) But, after viewing the video from the recital, I’m still very pleased.

So, for your enjoyment, here’s the video of the debut performance of “The Old Beggar-Woman”!
