…And I survived my Senior Recital (and the three performances that followed directly afterward!)
It really was a grand event. I don’t think I have ever felt so comfortable on a stage as I did that afternoon, and for that I owe thanks to the many run-thrus on stage with my accompanist, Janet Noll. I received so many compliments about my tone – I’m really very encouraged. An hour-and-a-half of glorious music, and I enjoyed every moment of it! I am so thankful to my family and all the people who helped make this event a success.
So, here’s a fun Thought for the Day, as I get caught up with life and face it with a new and shining excitement…
“Is it not strange that sheep’s guts should hale souls out of men’s bodies?”
Amen to that! 😀
